EAT – LAUGH – DANCE at the 10th Annual C2 Yuk Yuk’s Nights of Comedy –  the perfect get-together to ring in the Holiday Season!

September 5, 2018 – The Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre is excited to announce the 10th Annual C2 Yuk Yuk’s Nights of Comedy sponsored by Casino Dene – and this year, once again, promises to be double the entertainment with shows on both Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24! Each night, we’ll have three comedians from Yuk Yuk’s On Tour performing a great show, followed by an after-party with live music by ‘River Jacks’.

SOPHIE BUDDLE is a Vancouver based rising star.  At only 23 years old she’s already been featured at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, as well as JFL42 in Toronto and JFLNorthwest in Vancouver. You may have heard her on CBC’s The Debaters, she was also runner-up in the biggest comedy competition in Canada – SiriusXM’s Top Comic, and she has her first album coming out this year. Check her out but don’t like “check her out”.

MAYCE GALONI started performing stand up comedy when he was 15, and now at 22, he has gone on to perform across the country and appear at Just For Laughs Montreal, JFL42, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival and more. He is a regular on CBC’s The Debaters, and can be heard regularly on SiriusXM. Mayce has opened for such comics as Doug Stanhope, Gerry Dee, and Gilbert Gottfried.

DEREK SWEET has dark, insightful comedy that achieves its effect by forcing the audience into self-examination. He eases the shock to the audience’s ego by coupling his mockery with outrageous confessions and self-deprecating humour. In the end everyone ends up pointing a finger at the human race and laughing together. Derek is an award-winner who has toured all over Canada, and will be hosting and emceeing our event.

An After-Party with live music follows the comedy. The RIVER JACKS are a popular Camrose-area based five-piece party band specializing in Country, Rock, and Pop covers. Their large repertoire of popular songs is guaranteed to get you dancing!
