Managing all of the details and nuances set forth by the province has been very challenging, and meeting the needs of EVERYONE while working within the confines of the public health actions has been difficult. Following updated and confirmed information coming from the province, we are presenting an updated version of our COVID-19 RESTRICTION CHANGES & THE C2 documentation here:

The health, safety and well-being of our members, guests, tenants and staff is always a top priority of the Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre. As such, we will be implementing the Restrictions Exemption Program.

  1. Everyone entering the Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre for all programs, services, or events must be screened. Visitors must present proof of vaccination, proof of medical exemption, or a negative rapid test result* (children under 12 are exempt), and valid photo ID. A COVID-19 Health Daily Checklist must be or have been completed if #2 applies to you (some exceptions may apply).
  2. NEW: All youth (under 18), whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, may participate in all sport, fitness and recreation activities. To support them, a maximum of 2 people, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, may accompany and/or spectate their youth only while they are participating in the activity; adults may participate only if vaccinated, exempt, or tested (see above*). Spectator attendance for organized youth sports will also be restricted to 1/3 capacity. For more details, consult with your local youth sport association.
  3. NEW: Starting Friday, September 24, use of the Fitness Centre will be by appointment only. Please call 780-812-3400 to easily schedule your appointment.
  4. Fitness facilities and fitness programs (including fitness classes) will operate with mask and physical distancing mandate in place. Masks may be removed while engaging in physical activity.
  5. Masks must be worn at all times unless engaged in physical activity. 3 metre physical distancing is required.
➡As always, we ask for your cooperation and patience as we adapt to and work through this new set of challenges.
➡Our friendly staff are always available to help in every way.
➡Stay safe, stay healthy, and we’ll see you soon! ❤
